A life without love cannot bear the fruits of true fulfillment and success. True success is by its very nature a reflection of both actions and personal meanings, that are touched by experiences of love.
Without such experiences of love, a life of achievement may be described in terms of external signs like being rich or famous; that may be notable in some respects, but not in terms of it being a life of true fulfillment and success.
