If you are serious about reaching your goals, you need to be enthusiastic about them.

Setting goals gets you started, but then you need to sustain and direct your efforts with energy and enthusiasm. Without maintaining enthusiasm for your goals, they will lack motivational energy and they will not be a true source of satisfaction when and if you achieve them.
