“There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” (Anais Nin)

Seeking to personally change and better yourself often involves the risk of stepping outside of your comfort zone and exposing yourself to the threat of experiencing temporary discomfort, insecurity, disappointment, and even failure.

However, there comes a time when the need and desire to improve yourself becomes stronger than your need to remain secure. This is the creative moment when you become willing and able to take a chance on both the positive prospects and the risks of personal development.

“Life is inherently risky. There is only one big risk you should avoid at all costs, and that is the risk of doing nothing.” (Denis Waitley, American motivational speaker, writer)

“Wherever there is danger, there lurks opportunity; wherever there is opportunity, there lurks danger. The two are inseparable.” (Earl Nightingale, American writer, motivational speaker)
