Some goals are formulated more effectively than others.
How effective are your goals?
- Do they clearly identify where you want to be?
- Do they help you identify where you currently are?
- Do they give you important information about how to get what you want or where you want to go?
- Do they allow you to identify when you have been successful?
When you formulate goals for yourself, try to remember the idea of effective goals.
“In all things that you do, consider the end.” Solon
Many people fail in life, not for lack of ability or brains or even courage but simply because they have never organized their energies around a goal.” Elbert Hubbard
I don’t care how much power, brilliance or energy you have, if you don’t harness it and focus it on a specific target, and hold it there, you’re never going to accomplish as much as your ability warrants.” Zig Ziglar
