Do unto others….

“The more thoughtful you are of others, the more thoughtful they will be of you. The more you respect them, the more you will win their respect.” (Dorothy Sarnoff)

Besides being the right thing to do, respect is also the practical thing to do.

It turns out that when you are respectful to others, they usually reciprocate your respect. That is, they will, in return, treat you respectfully.

Respect is, at the same time, one of the most meaningful and effective practices for success in life.

“He who loves others is constantly loved by them. He who respects others is constantly respected by them.” Mencius

“Respect is a two-way street, if you want to get it, you’ve got to give it.” R.G. Risch

“I don’t care if you’re black, white, straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, short, tall, fat, skinny, rich or poor. If you’re nice to me, I’ll be nice to you. Simple as that.” Robert Michaels

Getting Personal

Give an example of that interaction.
