“Half of the troubles of this life can be traced to…not saying no soon enough.”

Effectively focusing on your goals will often come down to your ability to say “no.” It will come down to your ability to avoid getting distracted with relatively unimportant or lower priority things and to being able to stay focused on what is important to you.

“It’s only by saying NO that you can concentrate on the things that are really important.”  (Steve Jobs)

“It is simple to say no when your priorities are in order.”  (Unknown)

“You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage pleasantly, smilingly, and non-apologetically – to say “no” to other things. And the way to do that is by having a bigger yes burning inside.” (Stephen Covey)
