Loyalty

Nothing is more noble, nothing more venerable, than loyalty.

Cicero

“Nothing is more noble, nothing more venerable, than loyalty.” (Cicero)

.

Loyalty is expressed in demonstrated devotion and faithfulness in love, in friendship, work relationships. and in group participation. It is the reflection of a good heart and a strong mind, and it is one of the most admired qualities of a person of good character.

It is more than simply an indication of support and allegiance over time. Loyalty is an expression of will, and it demonstrates a decision to be supportive, even in the face of difficulty, threat, or adversity. A loyal lover, friend, or group member gives their support through bad times as well as good.

“The foundation stones for a balanced success are honesty, character, integrity, faith, love and loyalty.” (Zig Ziglar)

“Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence.” (Colin Powell)

“What I value most in my friends is loyalty.” (David Mamet)
