Achieving is not simply having something handed to you. When it comes to achieving goals, you must expect to encounter obstacles and often be forced to overcome difficult challenges.
The greatest achievers in life frequently have pointed out that before they accomplished their distinctive achievements, they often experienced failures and periods of discouragement. Being confronted by failures and obstacles is a normal aspect of achievement; and, in fact, the degree or extent of one’s achievements can often be measured by the level of difficulties that had to be overcome to attain them.
“Success is not to be measured by the position someone has reached in life, but the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.” (Booker T. Washington, American educator, author)
“Being challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional.” (Roger Crawford, American motivational speaker, author)
“If you expect life to be easy, challenges will seem difficult. If you accept that challenges may occur, life will be easier.” (Rob Liano, American motivational speaker, author)
