Continuous Effort

As the comedian Eddie Cantor used to say, ‘It takes twenty years to become an overnight success.” Since success is an outcome, and when we recognize it, it appears as a present reality, it is often easy to forget all the effort and time that preceded it, often many years of hard work, preparation, and practice.
