Any value-based, successful individual would feel compelled to acknowledge that their success in many ways was dependent on the support and contributions of other people: family, teachers, colleagues, friends, and countless others. This is simply the recognition of a basic truth about individual success. It is always interdependent with the cooperation and support of others.

“Always remember people who have helped you along the way, and don’t forget to lift someone up.”  Roy Bennett

“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” Albert Schweitzer

“Make it a habit to tell people, ‘thank you.’ To express your appreciation sincerely and without the expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you’ll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you’ll find that you have more of it.” Ralph Marston
