“I expect to pass through life but once. If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not deter or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again.” (William Penn)

The day you stop taking life for granted, marks the beginning of a new stage of your life. You fully realize that you only live once, you deeply appreciate the one life you have, and you become totally committed to doing the best that you can.

You only pass through this amazing journey called life once, and when you fully understand this insight, you should check your pulse and make sure you are making the best use of your opportunities. Perhaps when you wake up in the morning, you could start your day with a positive and inspiring thought about life; “I am thankful to be alive this day and I am obliged to make the best use of it that I can.”
