From Courtship to a Successful Marriage

What are the odds – from a loving courtship to a successful marriage? The answer is not a sure thing.

It is not a lack of talent, but a lack of dedication that is often the primary reason that many people do not succeed.

Courage can take different forms. Sometimes it takes courage to do something; and sometimes it takes courage not to do something.

If you are like many people, you may be surprised at how much you can accomplish over an extended period of time.

Is having talent a reliable indicator for being successful?

You need to have confidence, but at times you will need also to be prudent.

Doing more than you have to is always one of those choices you can make. How often do you make it?

Often it is not talent, but effort, determination, and not giving up that results in reaching one’s goals.

While it helps to have talent, to be successful it is even more important to have courage.

It is one thing to want to accomplish something, but it is another thing to actually get started trying to do it.
